[ARCHIVED THREAD] - VTAC help

This may seem a little basic. What is the best way to attach a VTAC to the front on my AR. A simple hook would get the job done, but the sling seems like it would work better it it is mounted higher. I know there is an easy answer, I just can't figure it out.

You don't need any hardware; wrap the strap around the hand guards and back through the sliders.

use the sling swivel? the end of the VTAC sling should be a loop, undo the loop, run strap through swivel, then redo the loop
