I would like a two point sling, one that I can cinch tight when carrying but loosen quickly to bring the rifle up to fire. I am looking at the Larue padded sling, but can't find much info on it. I do like the way it attaches. Does anyone have some feedback or that can suggest something similar? By the way, I would not usually be wearing a vest or chest rig, and am not a huge guy (I wear medium shirts). So the sling needs to cinch up to a smaller size.
Thanks! |

Boonie Packer. I use the cinchable two-point, and it cinches nice and tight. There's a quick release tab on one of the adjustable settings that immediately loosens the sling, letting you bring it around and to your shoulder.
It's an absolutely excellent sling, and very inexpensive. |

I purchased the Blue Force Gear Vickers Combat Applications Sling (VCAS-125-XX). I then ordered a Wilderness Tactical Products Slimline Sling Pad (http://store.thewilderness.com/product_info.php?cPath=72_1_75&products_id=1567). I'm completely happy with the final outcome. |

I think Saint A might be on to something here. The VCAS is a great sling but the padded version is imited in the amount you can tighten it up due to the pad. If you get the unpadded version and add the Wilderness pad, you can shorten the sling as much as you want and then add the pad to it. |
Throwing in my recommendation for the Emdom Gunslinger sling designed by Military Morons. It is a two point that converts to single point. One end has QD buckles and the other end I have an ITW mash hook.

| I have no need for anything but this. Check out the video demo. http://www.bdstacticalgear.com/pd_bds_tactical_dual_sling.cfm |
