Would something like the H&K Loop mount work with the MS2?

another +1!   Fits the Magpul sling MS2 perfectly and yet has a fairly low profile.  I like that it uses two screws instead of just one for more strength.

Go with the CQD if you plan on using the MS2 as a single/two point like it was designed.  I have used the DD QD mount, and have found that it is very hard to quickly transition from single to 2 point with it.  The CQD provides a fixed point of attachment for the hook, and allows rapid transition from single to 2 point use of the MS2.  I now have CQDs on my work and personal ARs.
