Looking for a bipod for the Colt LE6940, and I am looking for recommendations as there are a lot of them out there.

i think most would recommend Harris, but they're expensive, and you have to get an adapter for your rail mount.  i have a Grip-Pod and i like it. but i just go plinking, i don't take it out in the field or anything.

Harris is 1st quality gear.  GripPod is great gear also.  Get both as your situations change.

I use Harris.. the 9 to 13". The short one.. 6 to 9 is to short for shooting prone in any grass.
It is "expensive" but not compared to the Atlas or others. The others may be more stable. I have no experince with them. (wish I did).

I prefer the mechanism of the Tango Down, but I don't know of a QD option.

The Harris has a QD option (Larue), but I don't like the spring mechanism.

Same on both points.
The TD is designed well IMO, but needs tools to mount.
The Harris has springs and edges that sometimes don't play well with others.
Found the TD for just over 100 = sold.
