Is the Vickers really that much better than the Victory?  I don't need the quick release buckles.  I like the quick adjust feature.  Mainly, I want the ability to sling it tight across my back, but also be able to shoulder it quickly.  So Vickers or Victory?  Or is there a better value out there?

That IS a great price.  Is the sling decent quality?  And how does it compare to the better-known slings (VCAS, etc)?

The Vickers sling was based off the Boonie Packer slings. They are of extremely high quality. You can't beat them.

I was planning on ordering a Vickers sling with the sewn in QD attachment points, but was wondering....  What are "acetal" buckles/hardware?  Is that some type of plastic or polymer?  I like the idea of metal buckles.  Can anyone please help with any info on this?  Are there two styles of vickers slings with sewn in QD attachments?  Thanks.

Thanks for this, I ordered one last night.  I'd looked at Boonie Packer slings before, but for some reason was beating my head against a wall trying to decide what sling to use.  For the price, even if I don't like it, I'm not out an arm and a leg.  I'll do a review once I get it set up on my rifle.

Thanks again.

Sling arrived today, pretty quick shipping.  Now I'm just waiting on a box from Brownell's with a few different attachment pieces so I can try it out.

For the price this sling can't be beat.

THe acetal is a polymer, BFG released them to get the price point lower. They are tough. The only ones that I have heard of breaking would have taken out the metal sliders as well.
The buckles are not metal on any of the slings, just the sliders are on some of the models.
There are two base versions of the QD VCAS, padded and non-padded. After that you get into the slider material, polymer or metal.

We try to stock most set ups in Coyote and Black, too damned many SKU's to try and cover their entire product line in all colors anymore.

Padded: Not Padded
QD: not QD
AA: Metal slider

Are your basic options

Thanks.  I already have a Vickers Blue Force 2 pt. and needed another slight.  I went ahead ordered the redi-mag along with some chamber flags (which I have looking for).
