I have used the Viking padded 2pt. sling.  I used it on my FAL elk hunting this year.  I carried a 9.5 lbs DSA for several hours at a time over steep terrain and through thick brush for two days.  The sling carried the weight very well, and the gun's weight did not tire me out at all.  I also could carry the gun hands-free and use my hands to navigate through brush.  The rifle was easy to bring up and aim with the sling on.  I highly recommend it.

If you use a QD you can use the Tango Down PR-16 and or the Troy M-16 sling mount.

Troy

Tango Down

If you don't want to use a QD, then DD makes the Burnsed Loop for A1 and A2 stocks.

Forgot to mention that Gear Sector makes an adapter for full stocks.

I just use the GI nylon sling that connects to both the swivels (butt and front of the free float tube).
