I have been looking for a weapons bag that doesn't scream guns onboard.  I believe that I have found a solution for those of us who wish to carry are black rifles discreetly.  I found this bag while doing some research.  http://www.silverfishlongboarding.com/Articles/Accessories/Old_Man_Army_Skate_Bag/  This bag is 43" long and you should be able to get three M-4 style rifles in it along with rifle gear.  I know it is a skateboard bag but most of us can pass for skaters anyway (after all Tony Hawk is 40+ years old).  I would like to get one but I have to get approval from household six for the expenditure.  Tell me what you all think of this bag.

other bags that may work are those padded electronic keyboard bags.

Guitar Case/ Gig bag.

I used a nicely padded guitar gig bag for a long time for an AR.
Used a nicely padded Bass gig bag for a Rem 700.

But then again... a guitar/bass is just as likely to get swiped as a rifle.

For rifles non-SBR'd carbines, the skateboard bags work, as do hockey, baseball, or ;acrosse portsbags. All of them are at least 36" long and tend to have good zippers and pretty good materials.

For SBRs the softsided tool bags that Dewatl, Sawzall, etc make work pretty well.

Tip for a discreet carrry bag, do not get completely black or camo, these colors kind of give the whole "disceet" thing away.

What about a hard case? I have been searching for an old tenor sax case that I can retrofit with foam. Break down the AR and instant covert case.

I use a heavy duty tool bag thats 25" long. Just break down the rifle and no one knows.
Works great and with all the pockets that are in it, I can carry up to 20 mags and all the accessories needed.
