Does anyone make a good tactical soft case in the US? Really liked the look of the Boyt case Rainierhooker posted. checked out the web site, asked if they are made here, nope, overseas.
Try to buy american when I can, just gets harder all the time. |

Brownells has an excellent soft case for Carbines.
They make them for carrying one or two guns. I would like to see these made long enough for a full size rifle. 084-000-226 They also offer a sliding adjustable case that will accept rifles to 46" length very good and US made. 084-000-326 http://www.brownells.com |

iSHOT TCC cases are made in the USA (now).
It is the best case I've found. Unfortunately, they can't seem to make them fast enough, and it is occasionally difficult to contact the company. Apparently, they are in stock now, at prices that are considerably higher than the original prices for the foreign made cases, but this is to be expected. DISCLAIMER I have a 30" (not made in the US) and a 36" (US MADE) for sale in the EE. No link to the ad provided. Why am I selling them? Unfortunately, I can't find a US made case that suits my needs as well as the 5.11/VTAC double rifle case. |

I admit I know nothing about this stuff. I picked up 2 padded cases from Ebay & they seem to be very good for what I use them for. Storage & transporting to/from the range. These have the 5 mag pouches on the side. They are rectangle & allow everything on my AR's to stay on including a loaded mag.
Cost was $40 each. |

How are the Pelican's? Besides ridiculously expensive......
Also waiting on my Eberlestock Gunslinger bag.......Another pricey one, but hope it's worth it. Not sure if I'm going to use it for the AR or the Rem 700. Either way, after reading some feed back I am going to have to go with something for the other one. |
