I am looking for a single point sling mount that justs clamps to the buffer tube. I found onefrom Midwest Industries,i think, but it was really more than I wanted to spend. Anybody know of one for $30 or less? Or is there anyway I can make my own from some sort of hose clamp or other easy obtainable object? It is not necessary to look "tacticool", just needs to be able to support my weapon and not slide aroudn on the tube. Any feedback appreciated!

I was looking at a lot of sling mounts lately and I really don't think you're going to find a clamp on one for less than $30 unless you check EE for one from a private party. That being said, area51 has a few at right around $30 and shipping is only $8. They have a couple of different ones to choose from.
