[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 2 point sling mounting solution

I want to mount a 2 point sling on the side of my standard handguards near the upper. Any suggestions better than paracord around the delta ring?

Not really too many options for mounting it that far back with standard handguards...you can get a mount to put around the front sight base, but those are pretty much your only options with standard handguards...

This. Get the short one if you use standard handguards.

Problem: I don't have tapered handguards.

ETA: I have an idea. I'll post pics 30 minutes after UPS gets here.
