I don’t complain about shoddy customer service… I see it too often.  I DO realize good CS when I see it and I will comment on that.

Recently, I looked around for a Harris bipod lock.  It is a great addition to the bipod.  I found one on the web provided by T-Nuts (they have a dot com).  At the time of purchase (early Saturday morning), I selected the micro handle (BPL-micro) in 10-32 thread (appropriate for the Harris bipod).  T-Nuts gives the additional option of a metric thread (m6) which fits Chinese made bipods.  Knowing a buddy of mine had one of these Chinese made bipods, I purchased a micro handled lock in metric also.

Well, later that day I talked with my buddy who unknown to me had dumped his bipod for a Harris.  I wrote back to T-Nuts (about 6 hours later) to change my order to TWO 10-32 thread locks instead… only to be told by Robert Spicer of T-Nuts that my order had already shipped!!!

Now realizing this was still on Saturday, I was both surprised as to T-Nuts’ quick shipping service and a bit let down that I was buying the metric that I didn’t now need.  Robert offered to send another Harris compatible (threaded) lock out ASAP.  I replied that it was not necessary (thinking I would just let my buddy order/buy it his own self).

On Monday, Robert sent it anyway… free!

I received my Saturday order on Monday and my “free” lock on Wednesday.  Needless to say, T-Nuts’ incredible service is the reason you are reading this.  Thanks T-Nuts. (I am in no way connected to T-Nuts or Robert except as a satisfied customer)

I found T-Nuts service to be impeccable as well.

When you order the parts, buy extras because, one, they are cheap enough (just think what you have in that new ACOG!), two, you'll probably need an extra anyway, I like having a bipod for each rifle, and three, it's a great stocking stuffer for that "shooter" in your life!

I gave one of the setups to a co-worker to put in her Marine sniper husband's Christmas stocking last year, packaged with directions for installation.

She told me she overheard him telling some of his soldier buddys at a New Year's party the next week  "she's the greatest wife f––king ever!  She even gave me a pod-lock for the Harris on my rifle!"
One of the guys he was talking to replied "that is f––king awesome, my girl never gives me anything we can use over there!"
