I have a Bushmaster AR-15 and want to use my Harris bipod with it.
I ordered the adapter directly from Bushmaster and its a "#5 Bipod Adapter Stud" The aluminum flashing in the handguard is held in place by tiny plastic studs which just so happen to be spread out apart enough and are high enough that it makes mounting the thing impossible. (ie. the plate can't lie flush with the aluminum b/c of ths studs) I called tech support at Bushmaster and they suggested filing down the studs or cutting the adapter face plate. Has anyone else come across this deliema? Thanks |
