Recommend me an inexpensive but good sling for my AR!

Never used a sling before!

IDF. Simple and clean lines without all the straps and weight.

Blue Force Gear Victory or the VTac... I dont care for the IDF slings, as I prefer to attach my slings to my rifle, not tie them.

Plus you don't have to buy any mounts for it. It's a good sling to get started with. You can upgrade to something else later once you are more familiar with the AR platform.

I love my padded VTAC, and for 40 bucks it's hard to beat IMO.
