Have both, but to me they really don't compare. 2 totally different types of stocks for specific missions.

CTR is bare bones, solid
EMOD has battery storage, better cheek weld, a bit longer over all

I prefer my EMOD.  The CTR is not as tight as you would think, and I don't like having to use the friction lock.  I would buy the MOE instead of the CTR in the future.

I currently run an EMOD, but I've had both. I like the extra 1" on the EMOD (i'm tall) and the cheek weld. I also liked the CTR. It was compact and had a nice cheek weld as well, just not as comfortable as the EMOD. I didn't like the friction lock but it wasn't that bad. I'm sure I would have got used to it. I also like the storage I get. The EMOD suits my gun better, as its closer to a precision rifle than a blaster but when I build my SBR the CTR will be considered as it seemed a good fit for something like that.

Can't comment on the color match.

Do not have the MOE but my mil-spec CTR is very tight!

Oh yes.
As to the Magpul and VLTOR color match, my VLTOR FDE pretty much matches my Magpul FDE.  They are both pretty close to my TD FDE as well.

I have both. I like them both. The CTR is compact, but the EMOD has storage compartments. Hell buy both.

Yeah wish I could, does the emod lock up as tight as the ctr....I'm still up in the air on which to get, I dont need alot of battery storage,,but could store other things as well I guess.

Mine does.  And the compartments can be used for other things, like beef jerky or Twizzlers.

I have both.  I like the CTR better, but the emod does give a better cheekweld. My emod is foliage so I can't help you on color.  I think another poster said that he liked his emod better for precision.  I think that's a good call.  I like the CTR's better but that becuase they are light CQB guns, I've never had a problem with my ctr's not being tight.

I just installed an EMOD on one of mine. Very comfortable and I like the added length. Mine is FDE and is an exact match to the Magpul FDE color.
