How are are push button quick release sling swivels? are they solid and secure? any worries or incidents of releasing the swivel on accident or bumping it on something and them letting go or just releasing by themselves?

They will be used on my Patrol rifle so I need nice and secure. here is a link if my description is confusing.

I have been using them for years on my AR's, with KAC sight tower and butt stock mounts, and on my bolt guns. I have never had one release by accident, but, be sure to use good quality swivels. There are some cheap ones out there that should be avoided.

I run one on my duty M-4 and have never had a problem. I forget who made it and it is in my locker at work right now, sorry.

I like them, but just try to get one of the designs that limits the rotation so the sling can't get all twisted because the swivel just flops around.  Last thing you wanna do is pull the gun out of your trunk and have to get all the kinks worked out.

DD's mounts and LT's rail have limiters built in.Except for the DD CARQD which uses the castle nut as a rotation limiter.
