I've decided on either the BlackHawk Storm or Gear Sector ASP. I want to use the TangoDown PR-4 mount. I've got a 6920 with a MagPul CTR. Will the PR-4 allow the stock to fully collaps?
Thanks!

It will collapse fully, however, it won't lock in the first position.

If you have any questions regarding our ASP, don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks for the reply. That alone earns my business! Because the PR-4 won't lock into the first position, I think I'll stick with the KAC mount. You'll see my order for the ASP today.
Thanks Again!!

Magnum50,

I've been running the Gear Sector ASP on my duty weapon since they came out, and I'm not what you would consider a single point sling fan.  The quality, design, configuration, and Jasons service make it the best single point on the market as far as I'm concerned.

Here is a pretty thorough review written up on it based off several years of daily use as a city cop.

Here is a picture of my older Gen I version.  Its taped down so that I can grab it from my cruiser, throw it on in the dark while running, and without looking.  It doesn't do much for looks, but looking pretty is for rookies.

The ASP is a great sling.  If you're looking for a single point you won't be disappointed.
You've already seen what Jason's service is like.

Great Review Stickman!! I ordered the ASP. Jasons fast response had a lot to do with my decision too. Great customer service! I used both single and two point slings while in the service, pro/cons to both. I might also order a LaRue/Vickers two point just to have on hand.

Gear Sector is launching their GS-2P, which is a high quality adjustable 2 point sling.  Its mounting points will interface with the standard Gear Sector ASP, which creates a very modular system for swapping back and forth between slings as needed.

I also wrote up a review of the GS-2P, which can be found at the below link.

Quick note of thanks on that review Stickman. After reading your review and the GS-2P thread here, I purchased one and have been very happy with the setup.

When I had a question regarding my sling, Jason was quick to reply and offered sound advice. Great customer service and a great product, I'm finally pleased with a 2 point sling.

Thanks!
