I recently bought a short Tango Down grip with another LaRue scope mount order.  The thing is too damn tight for my rail and mars it up.   I realize I need a QR mount.

I need a LaRue version of this inferior product...HELP please:

First of all, here's the thread you want...............www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=19&t=344565

Basically, you need a Larue LT-170 for $79 and the rail from ARMS.

I've seen it, thanks...seems crazy to pay $100+ total for the rig to make a $50 part usable.  It's also kinda crazy to have to have to "jerry-rig" a solution, when a real solution seems so easy.

I am no CNC machinist, but it looks to me like it should be as easy as essentially building a cut down LT-101 (to retail ~$79 to render the ARMS 17 useless):
