I'm looking at single-point slings to replace my department's 3-point slings on rifles. That would allow universal use by left and right-hand shooters, as well as easier transtions between shoulders. Does anyone have any experience with these? (I'm familiar with the seller--I just need to know about the slings.) |

No experience with the brand in your link, but 2 considerations for a duty sling - 1) the MASH hook is virtually indestructible - much more rugged than a snap hook, but it jingles on the weapon and 2) for a duty sling you may want to consider a sling with an ERB - emergency release buckle. No easy way out of this setup if you get snagged on something (car, fence, etc.). A QD receiver mount would work too. |

Seriously look at the Vickers 2 point sling. Mount the front as close to the receiver as possible using an MI or DD adaptor a QD push button swivel, and also...mount the rear to the receiver plate area using a DD or other adaptor with a push button QD swivel. This will give you the best combination optional carries, as well as being able to easily transition to the weak shoulder. I have used several 1, 2 and 3 point slings and this is by far the best I've found. Tack |

Another vote for Gear Sector ASP. Very well made. I use the H&K adapter for my AR, and the appropriate YHM mount. (Part # YHM-9756) For the Rem 870 I use the Gear Sector burnsed mount and auxiliary adapter. I couldn't be happier. |

+1 Single points are neat when static but not so good when you add movement, transitions or dragging wound brothers. |
