Just picked up a Browning Buckmark rifle and want to put a MOUT type single point sling on it but I'm not sure what the best way to do this would be.

Need help in finding some sort of swivel adapter that can be placed in one of the holes on the stock.  Or do you think there is a better way of attaching a single point sling?

There is more then likely a simple solution that I just haven't found yet.

Blue Force UDC with a MASH hook, right into the hole.

That would do the trick.

I was probably hoping for to much, but I'm still trying to find something that wouldn't mar the shit out of the gun.  the MASH hooks would wear on it pretty good i would think.

Ok, how about a grenade ring run through a 10/32 threaded sling swivel? Use a bushing between the swivel stud and stock hole.

Or a small section of 550 cord, looped for a hook? If you want the stub as utilized on various slings, use the one here as an example

Personnaly, I would have traditional swivel studs installed and use a standard sling of your choice.

I'm just trying to do something different and see how it works.  Plus I was thinking that it would be nice to have something that I could use on my AR also.

The para cord idea is kind of interesting but i don't think it would look decent

Your helping out immensely.

The cord would if you get the right color to compliment the stock color. You could braid it and include a loop, run the loose ends into the braid, tie a single knot, seal the end-I think it would look good.

I think a stock stub would work perfectly.

Be sure to post a pic once you get your stock stub in house and installed. Try to include the entire weapon as well. I can honestly say that you are the first to run our ASP on a Browning Buckmark and it intrigues me.

Boredom does horrible things to my wallet.  :)

I was totally blown away this morning when I got a tracking number from gearsector.  I ordered the sling and stub last night!
I should have everything by Friday, including my Mueller quick shot for it.

I actually bought the sling for my AR and decided to try out the stub for the buckmark.

I will definitely post pictures for you.

I dont understand the rule against putting a stock or rear support on a large hand gun , like the Ruger Super Redhawk with the long barrel..

Here you go!

The buckmark weighs 4.5lbs as it is in this picture.  Makes my AR feel like a tank.
Man I love this setup!!

That is a nice looking setup. How does it work, as in does it hang well and not smack around?

I was walking around with it for about 15 min.  Putting it on the side it tucks up nicely and doesn't bounce.  Out front it bounces, but i think almost any weapon would.

I'm going to have a weekend of shooting so I'll have a good idea of how it all actually functions.  I can't get over how light and quick to aim the buckmark is.

Thanks! Looks fantastic.

Wow. I can't believe how little the Buckmark weighs. I bet its ridiculously fast to shoulder...

Don't forget to trim that tail off the stock stub.

Just got back from a weekend of shooting out at a buddies place.
The Mueller reflex optic is SOOOOOO much fun on this gun.

The Gear Sector sling worked perfectly!  It was very handy and nice to just have the rifle draped in front or off to the side while I reloaded mags or helped someone else out.

Put a stock on a pistol and it becomes a rifle.... Rifles must have barrels 16" or longer, or they are class III SBR's.  damned ignorant if ya ask me.
