Not to long ago i remember a topic that had a bunch of pics and went into detail about cutting case foam.
Anyone remember or can shoot me in the right direction?

I built a table just like the one in the post above and could never get mine to work.  I finally broke down and spent $49 for a pre made "hot wire table".  Here are my results on the very first try.

I simply used a slide blade on mine.  The hardest part was keeping the blade perpendicular to the foam.  I also switched blades several times during the process to make sure it stayed sharp.  The spots that look boogered up were cut after I had glued the layers together and realized I had to make the cut one layer deeper.

I read this somewhere else....I don't know if it really works, but sounds logical, and might help.  It was recommended to place the sheet(s) of foam into the freezer for several hours to help make it stiffer/easier to cut.

Like I said, it sounds reasonable, but I've never tried it....

IMHO closed cell foam is already stiff enough...for open cell it would sure help.

MadDog,  Would you be kind enough to provide a link for the Hot wire Table?

I just finished building a hotknife and its pretty easy and cheap.  I wouldn't drop money on one unless you plan on using one a lot.

Thought I saw a website that will cut the foam for you. You download their program, send off the layout diagram the program generates and they cut the foam for you.

Yeah, and it's a hundred plus bucks and good luck figuring out the programs.  I know I couldn't.
