i saw a miad grip that was not magpul with a changeable backstrap and fingergrooves on a website the other day, can't remember who makes it or where it was, can anyone enlighten me

if it was not MAGPUL it wasnt a MIAD

it was some set with and adjustable front and back, you could change out the finger grooves

However I do believe the grip you are refering to is the UPG16 from Command Arms.
