[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Side Sling Swivel

I purchased a pin to the barrel side sling swivel from RRA. Link shown below. My question is I put it on and it slides back and forth very loosely on the barrel. Is this mounted correctly or did I mess something up?

It's on correctly. I have one just like it made by Stag (probably who makes them for RRA). It fits loosely around the barrel and works perfectly with a Vickers sling.

Is it curved on both sides? Some of those are made for two different size barrels. Make sure you use the one that fits the "snuggest."

Yes the back piece also has a radius. It fit snug when I pushed it onto the barrel then once both sides were completely on the mount will rotate. I think I am just going to switch it out for a rail mount side swivel. Thanks for your help guys.
