Looking for a 3-point sling that allows for either right or left-hand usage, transitional. Application is a fixed stock AR15, patrol rifle. Any thoughts...? |

A 3-point that lets you transition to shooting with your left hand, or a 3-point that lets you set it up for left-handed use? If the former, then there are some with release buckles or elastic to allow for some extra length when you need to transition. If the latter, then you have some suggestions above. You might also look at the Boonie Packer 2-points or IDF slings which might do what you want without the strap along the side like a 3-point. |

Specter Gear CST sling is what you need if you're looking for a 3 point that you can quickly do a cross shoulder transition with. SpecterGear 3 pt. (CST-Cross.Shoulder.Transition) Best of luck to you. |

If it's a patrol rifle that will be carried inside the cabin you might want to think about the sling getting snagged in absolutely everything inside when you try to pull it out. Some slings can be secured to the side of the rifle, but otherwise you will end up spending a lot of time detangling your gear. I went with an ASP to avoid the issue. |
+1 The cross shoulder transition works, just like they show. The sling can be attached to either side of the weapon. ETA:
