I have been thinking about attending a carbine class such as Blackwater or Gunsite. I also am interested in shooting 3 gun matches. My question is will a simple chest rig work for these situtions? It seems like they will keep the magazines in a good position but will not be as cumbersome as a full vest or other simular combat rig. Interested in the chest pouch from Blackhawk.

The Specter Gear chest rigs are designed better vs. BHI in my experience & made in the USA.
