I want to order a Magpul and you have the choice of ordering it with either the full sling loop or the  snap sling loop.  Can someone explain the difference and advantage/disadvantage of one over the other?   Thanks.

The full loop is intended to have the webbing of a sling threaded through it (like aSpectre MOUT single point sling, if you're familiar with that).  The snap loop is for an HK-style snap attachment (like a Troy Ind. single point sling).

Here is the illustration from Magpul's website:

Hope that helps.

Magpul will also be offering a receiver QD sling plate pretty soon. I was lucky enough to get (3) of the prototypes:

This mount allows you to use the KAC QD sling swivel which also happens to fit the sling mount on the tailpiece reinforcement bracket on the M93B.
