| How good are the quality on these M4 and CAR15 stocks. Better than the overseas stocks? |
|
I can't give you personal experience with one of their stocks but I have read a fews post here where the poster was not all that thrilled with it. I would imagine it would be better than the overseas stuff but that is only a quess. For only a little bit more money I would go with a Cav Arms stock or an Rock River stock. You can find them in the EE for around $60 |
| I always forget to recommend the CMT stock. It is made exactly like a Colt stock except for that the CMT has a 6pos receiver extension while the Colt has a 4pos, plus it has a mil spec receiver extension and the RRA, Cav Arms, Bushy, ect.. don't. I bought a Colt Stock for over $100 which I am very happy with but if I knew about the CMT stock at the time I definetly would have bought that instead. Good luck, hopefully someone else will chime in and give you an opinion but if you do go with the CMT you will not regret it. |

I just replaced my cheapo Tapco M4 4 pos. stock with a CMT. The CMT fits tight on the buffer tube, has no rattle, and has virtually no play. The old M4 stock rattled with just the slightest movement due to very sloppy fit. Check around with the supporting dealers here. I got mine through Bravo Co. I probably could have gotten it a bit cheaper, but I have nothing but good things to say about thier service, I was able to order it with the H buffer, and they had them in stock. |
I have three of them now. They are great. Fit and finish is excellent, and the mil-spec tube takes the higher end stocks like the Vltor with no problem A great deal for $65, and not much more then the Tapco. Just get the CMT and be happy! |
