I have a Bushy carbine with a 6 pos stock, I am looking at getting a VLTOR butt stock to put on my Bushy but I am a little confussed, would I have to replace my butt stock tube or could I just pull my 6 pos. butt stock off and slap the VLTOR on with no problem.

You will need to replace the receiver extension tube. The Bushmaster is too large to fit in the Vltor. Here's some data I posted earlier. Note that the RRA is the same as a Bushmaster: --------------------------------------------------------- The Vltor stock WILL NOT fit on the RRA extension. The RRA stock WILL fit on the Vltor extension. Measurements: Vltor: length of extension: 7.25" diameter of extension: 1.145" positions: 5 RRA length of extension: 7.75" diameter of extension: 1.165" positions: 6 You will notice that the RRA extension tube is a larger diameter, hence the reason the Vltor won't fit. |
