I like the looks of the troy sling alot, but I heard they were hard to get ( backordered) is this still the case. If so, is there another sling like that. I really like that particular style single point sling.

I'm using the CQB solutions HST sling with an HK style hook. As close as you can get without being Troy. My HST has the ERB and I really like it.

Where did you get the HK hook, and how are you attaching the hook to the sling. sorry if it is a dumb question, but I've never handled one.

The HK hook and single point sling adaptor I got from Cory at Adrenaline Arms. $20-something for both with shipping.

The HK hook slips on the sling just like a sling loop. The hook then connects to the single point sling adaptor which in this case has one round hole for the hook to go through as apposed to a loop for a normal sling.

Cory also has the CQB sling with the hook already on it in stock so you could order that and the adaptor and be set in one shot.

I'll try to get some pics tonight, if someone doesn't beat me to it.

It's about the same price from what I've seen to buy a snap hook and the hook receiver plate, than the slotted burnsed plate.

Does the hook make noise, or scrap up the receiver? That's why I'm hesistant to get one.
