I have a Bushmaster M4 on the way.

I was curious if the M9 bayonet would fit and function properly.

Thanks!

14.5 or 16 inch barrel?  No problems with the 14.5"

Edited to add:  As long as there is a bayonette lug

It's the M4 with the Izzy FS.  Unless I'm mistaken (which is always possible!), it would be the 14.5" since the FS is permenantly attached.

So, I guess I'd be good to go.

ok do you have a Bayo lug?  Also, I'm not sure of the diameter of the Izzy Brake.  It may be too big for a bayonette.

Yes, it's the "no ban" M4 so it will have the bayonet lug.  I'll have to check into that Izzy diameter I suppose.

I have been wondering about this too. I have the 16" barrel Patrolman carbine.  What bayonets would fit this gun, if any?

They make an extention for the end of your bayonette.  Otherwise the ring kinda floats around on your barrel instead of being snug on your FS

Interesting, where can I find said extension?
