Can someone let me know what the difference is between the USMC black sling and the standard sling featured in the Armalite catalog? I only have access to the online version, and it does not have pictures.

Also, I have read the "Best Soft Case" thread below, but am looking for specific recommendations for a tactical case for an AR-10 SPR, topped with an ACOG TA11E. Do the mag pouches on the Galati cases fit the AR-10 mags? If not, what can you recommend?

Same sling. 1 flat piece of black nylon and to slider buckles. Simple design.

The Galati case pockets will fit the AR10 Mags, but there are "sturdier" cases out there.
Eagls, Blackhawk and Maxpedition are "better" options, but are more $$$.
