I just put an AR together recently, and would like to mount a bipod. I have the DPMS 16" bull barrel with the aluminum handguard. There is no forward sling swivel, so my question is... how do I mount a sling swivel/ adapter to put on a bipod. I would like to use a Hsarris bipod. Any info is appreciated.

Drill a hole in the aluminum handguard and install a sling swivel stud. Then install Harris as usual. Should cost you less than $10 and a few minutes in the basement.
