Does anyone have a recomondation for a really good soft sided case? Many years ago I had an Assualt Systems case for my AR, but I sold It with my weapon. It was really well made, & I haven't be able to find anything that is near as nice as I remember that case to be. Thanks for your help.

In my opinion, Waller and Sons makes the finest lockable softcase.  I've several that are over 10 years old, and they are holding up extremely well.

Eagle is equally excellent but without the keylock option.

I second GALATI! Best soft sided weapon cases I've ever owned. I got 1 for the M4, AR, and 870. You can find them on the net for around $49.00.

I'm wondering hqw thick the padding is on the Galati cases. The old Assualt Systems case I had cost me close to $100 bucks, & that was about 20 yrs ago. Ive seen other soft sided cases in gun stores all over the place, but again ,nothing that compared to the old Assault Systems case, & that makes it hard for me to buy a case that is not as good as the A.S. model. I got a Uncle Mikes soft sided when I bought a pre ban from a guy, & it doesnt come close to the A.S. case. Does anyone know where Assault Systems cases went?

Why not just purchase another Assault Systems case? I bought a new one a few months ago for about $90. Assault Systems changed their name to Shooting Systems. You can buy their soft-sided rifle cases on the internet. Here's a link: http://www.gunaccessories.com/ShootingSystems/riflecases/shootingsystemsriflecases.asp

I think this has to be one of the best soft  case going, plus it's lockable.

Another vote for the Eagle Industries case.  I haven't had mine long, but it does the job.
