Probably a silly question but...will the emitter and circuitry survive the extra power? Are we trading battery-life (not needed) for emitter life? p.s. I have some Aimpoint optics, my oldest being a Comp. ML2, that I have never changed the battery in maybe 15+ years. I hate that weird little battery but they seem to last forever. I would love to use the 123 for everything. |

I have an aimpoint pro with the unity mount. I would love to buy one, are you saying it doesnt fit? ETA I'm using the stock mount upper with the unity riser. it should fit. I'm in for one. these are made in USA? |

Unfortunately it does not clear the Geissele mount. I don't think many people use these anyways It does work fantastic on the stock QRP on my other PRO. I might have to just go ahead and swap back to the QRP mount and order a second one of these. Anyone have any idea of how long the battery life with a CR123 will be? On paper the CR123A has about 9x the capacity. I usually swap the 1/3N out at about 4 months as the optic starts dimming (I keep it on the second from top) so maybe it'll go 36 months. |

I wanted to check back in with all of you to see if anyone has come across any new mounts not previously discussed. I also wanted to report that we tried to adapt the design to fit some of the popular mounts that the adaptor previously didn't work with but there just isn't enough room to safely/easily change the design to accommodate some of the thicker mounts. However, we did improve the design to mechanically capture the isolator so that after installation, there is no chance that the isolator or brass plunger could fall out during a battery change.
