Looking for a scope for my armalite 308 ar10, 20" barrel. Want something that won't break the bank but will be good for 700 to 800 yards
Any recommendations?

Weaver grand slam tactical 3-10 at natchez. I think it's like 250 or so. Made in Japan glass.

I've got an SWFA super sniper on mine (10x42 fixed with mildot reticle). You can find them regularly on the EE for $300 and less. Get the M model with the side parallax.

SFP Vortex Viper PST 4-16 or 6-24, I prefer the 4-16x version....you can find them under $500, leaves you enough to get a good QD mount (if you plan on using backup sights).
