so i have an acog TA31G-H in the tan anodized ECOS color, however on the eyebox body it does not have the 2 mounting points for a MRDS mount. My acog looks like pic #1, but i really want the eyebox mounts like in pic #2. Would Trijicon be able to swap out the eyebox bodies? figured i'd ask here first before spending X amount of time calling the/on hold/trying to explain to a tech

They call them bosses now apparently.

The OP is asking about the entire forged part aft of the body screws on the ACOG itself... He wants the RMR mounts forged into the ACOG, vs having to buy a ring that just encircles the ocular.
Honestly, this is a 5 minute conversation with Trijicon. I've called them numerous times and have never had to wait on hold for more than 30 seconds. |

The bosses (technical name for them) are machined into the housing. Meaning you'd need a new rear housing unit. Meaning your 2 serial numbers wouldn't match anymore.
Some ACOGs have the bosses and some don't as you know, but the full ring mounts work too. (Bosses use half ring mounts) |
