So between my Mepro Tru-dot and my rear buis I don't have enough room to mount my Larue flip to side magnifier on the upper receiver. Are there any slim magnifier mounts that just take up a couple rail slots?

If you don't need it to flip to the side, a tall scope ring will work, usually a 30mm diameter depending on magnifier
