Hello did some searching of the forums but did not see what I was looking for. So I had some questions for people that own the GDI R-COM E-Model Combat Optic Mount. I just go it and wondering how the lever adjusting screw works . How do you adjust it? The instructions say to open the lever and adjust. I open the lever try to turn the screw and the lever moves with the screw. If I try to hold the screw and just turn the lever or vise versa it will not budge it is like the lever and screw are locked together. I am missing something? Thanks for any help.

I just went and checked mine, the screw should be able to turn. Maybe there is loctite or thread locker on the screw?

Big screw driver and hold the lever steady in the open position.

I haven't had this trouble with mine, makes me wonder if it rusted in place or accidentally got some thread locker on it.

This. I will say the last two GDI mounts I got from botach, the screw was rusted a bit, sprayed some CLP in there and they adjusted easily after

Yeah, got mine from TAG, and they're a little "NOS".  Super value though....

These mounts do have thread locker on the adj screw, so as mentioned it might take some effort. I only had to adjust mine alittle tighter on my uppers they're on by turning that screw just a bit..I never noticed the open lever actually move.

I adjusted mine the same way I adjust an ADM mount. Open lever push and turn with the screwdriver.
