That's the brand we had for our ACOGs in the Army and I believe just about everything else, but I'm not sure about the Aimpoints. Never had an issue with it.

They sell just regular flip caps as well (without the Anti Reflection Device).  A LOT more durable than shitty ass Butler Creek caps (but they have a price tag to prove it).

OP, take a look at the Vortex Defender line of scope caps and see if they have a model that'll fit your particular scope, they're extremely durable and a lot cheaper than the Tenebraex covers.

ETA:  Another option is AADMount.  They make some quality flip caps as well.

Tenebraex is make in USA and Canada with a much higher quality then the typical Butler Creek (make in Asia?) caps. The Killflash filter are all hand inspected by a human, which also add to the cost.

So for OP, Tenebraex is the top brand for lens cap and you pay for what you get.

Tenebraex makes great quality flip caps they are much better than Butler Creek. Euro Optoc was very helpful in finding the correct part # last time I ordered.

They're awesome and Eurooptic is the best place to get them IMO.  Pricey but very good.

Lots of people like the Vortex Defenders but they aren't that much better than the Butler Creeks in my one experience.  YMMV.

What was your issue with the defenders?  I've broken every single BC cap I've used and have yet to break a defender.

They've never come off my scope (Viper PST 2.5-10x44), but they never sit flush on it either - always partially off, and they start pulling off when I flip them half the time too.  I think they're better than the BC caps, I just don't like either one very much.  The Tenebraex are the best but I feel like a sucker dropping almost $100 on scope caps on a sub-$1000 scope.  I'm switching to Scopecoats for most of my optics - not quite the same thing but won't bother me as much.

Ahhh yeah, the ones I use on my NF NXS 2.5-10x32 don't fit perfectly and I had the same "slipping" problem.  I just used some camo duct tape to keep them from moving.

If you have a Leupold scope, look at their metal (aluminum) screw in fold flat Alumina scope covers.  Strong, light, well-designed and good looking.
