Purpose is for shooting 200-500 yards. Love my Aimpoint, but my eyes are getting older and magnification will help out past 200 yds.
Had a Nikon P-223 for awhile and it was ok, But I'd like something a little better this time. Not sure what I should go with, 3-9 again? or lower power with better glass?
Would like to keep it on the lighter side, budget is $500... Any input is appreciated
TIA

Primary arms has their new gen 3 1-6 with ACSS reticle. They also have a 1-8.

They are $289 and  $389, I think.  The 1-6 has a lifetime gaurentee.   Only weigh 15.5oz.

1-6

1-8

I don't have one but the reviews have been decent. Check out mrgunsandgear on the tube. For a review.
