I just purchased a Colt 4x20 scope and have several questions.

1.  If I remove the scope using the mounting clamp assembly and then re-attach it using the mounting clamp assembly, will I have to re-zero it or will it hold zero?

2.  If I sight the scope/rifle at say 100 yards and in so doing have set the range selection knob at the 100 yard setting and then want to shoot at a target set at say 200 yards, by turning the range selection knob to 200 yards will I be on target at 200 yards?  The manual does not specify.

Thanks in advance

As far as repeatability, you'll just have to test.  You will also have to test if the BDC lines up with whatever load you are shooting. My guess is probably not exactly.  They were designed for a 20" barrel shooting M193.  And I don't even know if that lines up.  I have never done an extensive test, other than I tested if it actually raised the POI at 25 meters when turning the knob for the further distances.  Which it did.

1= Not likely, but close. Mount it and leave it alone.
