Features as 10x with 42mm obj. 30mm tube with large robust turrets and side focus. The reticle is hash type mils. The cool thing about it is that there is a full 10 mils below the center. For anyone that ever shot 1000 yards with a 308 using JUST mil holds, this is huge at the traditional 5 mils below will only get you about 800 yards. And lastly, the turrets are mil movement. I would add Schmidt and Bender's Police Marksman II fixed 10x42 to the short list of absolute "best" fixed 10x scopes. It and the US Optics scopes rule the roost of that genre.
It's "only" about $2,300 dollars. A favorite for police bolt guns, where the marksman will set up 100 yards or so away from a known target in an urban hostage type situation.. |
