So I realize this sub forum is full of optics but I love ringing my 8" gong at 100 yards with my iron sight guns. With that being said the front sight post on one of my guns is the Troy battlesuit setup. It's black and can be somewhat hard to make out when contrast matches the post. I can pick it u but I'm looking for a bit of an extra edge.
I painted the front post white but it seems to blow it out but I have left it alone. I have looked at fiber optic fronts but some of the reviews I read state they dont perform the same as handgun front sights. Has anyone tried the Chevron triangle front? Would a smaller post work? |

I'm probably in the minority on this, but I like these crosshair front sights by KNS. I can use the circle in circle for fast acquisition, and the crosshair works fairly well for me if I have time for a more precise sight picture. KNS front sight on Amazon |
