Sometimes I get a little carried away with the length on these videos, this is a pretty clear example of that. I hope those of you with interest in this sight and the patience to stick around for 30 minutes learn something from the video.

And for those who don't care to watch, I do like the sight a lot. The biggest shortcomings I noted were the auto-brightness (which you can override), the windage and elevation adjustments, and the polymer mount the sight came with. The sight stood up to a lot of abuse in my testing and the lightweight, clear "glass" and reticles won me over.

I really, really like mine.  Would agree with the shortcomings - the auto-brightness works pretty well for just ambient light but pretty poorly with a weaponlight, lack of "clicks" for adjustment is weird, and polymer mount seems to work fine for my purposes but doesn't inspire confidence.  I picked it for my PDW after directly comparing it with the MRO, Deltapoint Pro, Hensoldt RSA, and Mepro Tru Dot - all of which I liked a lot.

As for the mount, Shield makes aluminum mounts and supposedly is going to release a mount that takes a CR123a battery that increases the sight's battery life to like 8-10 years or something like that.

How long have you had yours? Any pictures of it on the PDW?  Trying to rake together some info on these because they do seem pretty rare still.

Also, I've been contemplating picking up one of the aimpoint adapters for mine. This sight combined with a nice, light-weight geissele or scalar mount would be pretty sweet.

Seems we agree on everything
I have a CQS works pretty well, the plastic mount for co/witness height rifle pretty cheap. But they do make a adaptor that will allow you to use Aimpoint T-1 mounts.

I've had it maybe a month and have only been able to shoot it a couple times.  Not worried about durability after reading this:  http://calibremag.ca/shield-red-dot-torture-test/

I don't have any pics on me but if I remember I'll try to snap some.  It feels like an RMR or any other non-tube reflex sight in most ways, except the emitter is not exposed and there is no tint.  Viewing window is on the small side, similar to an RMR but quite a bit smaller than Deltapoint Pro, for example.  This doesn't technically matter for FOV when shooting both eyes open since there is very little visual obstruction around the sight, but the smaller window is somewhat less forgiving of head placement.

Requested pics of the PDW below.  To get ahead of any questions, build is:

QC10 Receivers
Maxim CQB Stock with 9mm JP SCS
JP 9mm Enhanced Bolt
AXTS Raptor Charging Handle
Hiperfire EDT Trigger
Odin Works 5.5" handguard
QC10 5.5" barrel
Noveske KX5 Flash Can
Samson Short Vertical Foregrip
Low-Pro Handstop
HK MR556 Grip
Troy Fixed Front Sight with Blitzkrieg Arms chevron tritium post
Samson Folding Rear Sight
Streamlight Protac 1L-AA in Arisaka Keymod Light Mount
Cerakote job by Black Sheep Arms in Austin, Texas

And obviously a Shield SIS Red Dot Sight with Shield Polymer Mount

Looking sharp in my tactical closet.

Profile shot.  Sorry no clue how to rotate it in Tinypic.

Looking down sight with rear BUIS folded down.  Front is fixed.  Reticles are very crisp but hard to photograph, easier to see in next photo.

Looking down sight with rear BUIS folded up.

Another profile shot.
