Anyone used the Meprolight RDS PRO? Looking pretty closely at it for a while and read good things, until today. Found a couple of reviews about the glass and having some "artifacts" and bad parallax. Anyone have experience with these? GTG or keep looking?

I have 3 and really like them.
Very rugged and simple (just 5 dot brightness selections). Really clear non-tinted glass. Large and wide FOV which I prefer over the small round (Aimpoint et al) offerings. Powered by one AA battery. Auto-off after a minute or two, can't remember? Instant on with a slight bump/pick up. The only potential downside for some is that they are a bit bulky compared to the micros. I do not notice any blooming or artifacts. Bonus was I picked mine up for <$300 delivered each. I think Mako will have a similar sale this upcoming Black Friday. |
