Anyone use a bubble level on their optic for longer range shooting?  I am considering buying the new Vortex Lo Pro bubble level, but was wondering if something else is better?  The Vortex is made in the USA, has their lifetime VIP warranty and is light weight.

If not the Vortex Lo Pro, what level should I be considering?  Thanks for the help.  3 weeks from now, I have a carbine class where we shoot up to 550 / 600 yards and that is what prompts the questions and the purchase.

Thanks in advance.

The Vortex is good to go, and is very similar to David Tubbs bubble here: http://www.davidtubb.com/tubb-competition-shooting-accessories/cant-indicator-34mm

Some guys prefer the Accuracy 1st, but it's nearly twice the price and you won't be any more 'level'... https://www.accuracy1stdg.com/store/itemDetail.cfm?prodID=530

ETA:  I have a level on all my precision bolt guns, but not on my carbine, as the relatively small number of 500+ yard shots I take doesn't seem to be worth the (minor) extra weight

Thanks for the nice response.  The Vortex one looks like it will meet my needs and the price is right with a little shopping.  I really do like the Accuracy 1st bubble, but the price is a little crazy.  Thanks for sharing.

I've used a bubble level for years. Don't go cheap---- those tend to be a little off. If you are serious about accuracy, they are a necessity. I also use an angle indicator for shooting slopes.

I ended up buying the Lo Pro by Vortex. It was half the price of some, with the wonderful VIP lifetime warranty - if I ever snap it somehow or break it.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone.
