| I have been doing some hunting and can't find this info anywhere. So here is my question. Can you set-up a micro red dot (Burris Fast Fire lll or Vortex Venom or Trij RMR) with a flip-mount magnifier behind it (this would be on an AR platform)? Any issues you can think of? As long as they are lined up with the correct risers, I'm thinking we would be good, but I could also be way off. |
| Not only doable, but quite common of a set up. I have an Aimpoint micro on a non-qd cantilevered mount and a 3x magnifier on a qd mount for occasions that I want to reach out a little farther with precision. Others here use the flip-to-side mounts for their magnifiers. The mounting is very much personal preference and situational. |

No reason not to if you put the mini reflex on the proper height riser and have enough rail room behind it for the magnifier. |

"Can a magnifier be run behind a red dot?" So I answered "yes", mentioned my set up as an example, and listed a couple other options. |
