I am going to be building my first 308 AR slowly and am needing some help with choosing an optic. I am going to try and stay on the light side when it comes to weight. I am going with an 18" barrel and would like to get a variable magnification, FFP optic that would allow me to make use of the 308 round. I have always used optics with the BDC built into the reticle but I havent had any luck finding that for 308. As far as price range, I would like to stay around $1500 for the optic itself. I am in no way a door kicker or would be betting my life with this scope or build but this will be my most expensive build to date so I would like something nice.
I did come across a primary arms scope that definitely fits the bill and have several of their products, I am just not sure about putting a $300 scope on a 2K build. Any help is very much appreciated. |
