Anybody know of a scope for a .308 bolt gun that has the CMR type reticle (ranging reticle) or ranging reticle like an ACOG that does not cost an arm and a let and is good glass? The Leupy costs about 2500 bucks. Thanks in advance. |
| The Burris XTRII 1-5x and Trijicon Accupower 1-4x are both options with ACOG -type ranging+BDC reticles that cost less than an ACOG. The next one down on the list would probably be the Primary Arms ACSS 1-6x, but that is Chinese glass, and takes you out of the realm of what I would call "good" glass. Same deal with the Pride-Fowler RR900 2.5-10x. A low power ranging/BDC scope isn't the usual choice for a .308 bolt gun, but nothing really wrong with it. I've run a 1-4x on a lightweight bolt gun for hunting before, and it works fine. Kind of a "dangerous game" style setup. |
