I recently purchased an MRO.  I haven't put more than a few hundred rounds through it.  I honestly like the sight way more than my T1, but I went to pull my rifle out of the safe today to go to the range and checked my optics like I do overtime before I go to the range.  The dot was barley visible.  I thought that maybe the battery that came with it was just bad.  I replaced the battery and no difference.  I tried 4 other batteries i had and same result.  All of the settings are the same brightness which are barely visible in a dark room and defiantly not visible outside or in a bright room.  I am posting this because I have see a lot of other issues with the MRO posted but not this one.  I really like this sight, I really hope Trijicon can get it fixed permanently.

I wasn't having any of the other issues people where having like the tint problem or red lines.  There is a very slight magnification but its hardly noticeable and i had to look very hard to even realize it.  I would have never noticed if i hadn't read about it.  I have a stigmatism and the dot is still round, the field of view is way better than a T1.

Update:

Just received my MRO back from Trijicon and they sent me a brand new one.  SN:9xxx.  Works great now.  Happy with the service from trijicon.

Personally, I think some of the other stuff people are complaining about is just whiny crybaby bullshit.  In your case, it sounds like a legitimate warranty issue, and it happens sometimes.  Just contact the vendor or Trijicon, I am sure they will take care of you.

Magnification, excessive tint, fisheye? Crybaby bullshit? You must be "that guy" that everyone talks about at serious use classes.

I wasn't aware "serious use" guys sit around and talk shit about people at their classes.  Sounds more like a mall ninja class.

I don't have the extra cash for another optic at this time.  What does that have to do with anything?

It gives the audience some insight into your perspective of "only crybabies are....".

In short, he is pointing out that you have no experience to base your comments on, and are being a crybaby about what you call.....crybabies.

I saw what he did there (frankly I thought it was pretty obvious....)

It is pretty easy to read what others are complaining about.  It doesn't take a genius to see what is happening.  Especially when some people never even notice the "problems" until they are pointed out and they have to really look for them before they realize they also have the "problem."  Without the internet, the majority of people complaining would probably have used the things and been completely  happy with them.
