Hello all, let me start by saying I've watched the midway video about scopes and read some things about field of view, but I'm still confused here.
I have a 3x9x32mm Simmons (cheapy from Walmart) just for basic plinking. When I use it at 3x setting it's all well and good, looks good. However when I crank it up to 9 the image diameter in the scope is super small and field of view looks EXACTLY the same. In other words, I can see my shed left to right full view in 3x and in 9x, only smaller picture of it. (Like if you had a 4x6 photo and just moved it from 6 inches away to 3 feet away, you actually see it WORSE.) Did I buy the wrong scope here or what? TIA! -Jason |
